OK, our menu:

Ham (from the local Czech meat market)
Turkey
Gravy
Cornbread dressing
Oyster dressing
Greenbean casserole (made with fresh greenbeans)
Potato rolls
Mashed potatoes
Baked sweet potatoes (no marshmallows involved)
Cranberry something
Cherry Pie
Mincemeat Pie
Chocolate Pie
Cookies

Everything made from scratch.

I'm eating at Rev's house. That mac and cheese sounds like it's to die for.

But I'll bring my Italian Gramma's meatballs...zee best. Also the best sauteed green beans in bacon fat with mushrooms and onion.

Oh, and I also make super homemade gravy. Got to have plenty of THAT.

Anybody else brine their turkey?

I failed to mention the corn on the cob and greasy beans with new potatoes.

We do use a salt water brine if we're cooking wild turkey.

Around one cup of salt per gallon of water.

My healthy-minded wife wouldn't let me add enough cheese for that amount of "love".

When TM gets invited over they usually ask him to bring the sesame seed dinner rolls, as was the case today.

I'm supplying the non-knead, slow-rise dinner rolls for the entire crowd.

and then just to make it interesting, I'm bringing a loaf of my latest concoction, sesame seed, no-knead, slow-rise sourdough bread.
