I recognize everyone has already seen these, or at least some of them, but here is a video of Obama claiming he couldn't do what he just did; and this isn't even a complete account. He said things like this 25-30 times over the years.

I was thinking about these Obama statements just today and came to a sudden revelation, maybe not particularly shocking to some, but it was for me. Namely, Obama didn't mean a word of it. He's a liar, a pathological liar in fact. He always intended to do what he has done, all the talk about his powers being mere palaver for the suckers, and the only other decision he had to make was when.

For him this is a good time. He doesn't have to run again. He took a major hit at the last election but that Congress doesn't enter office until January so the issue is now and he still has a supportive Senate. The only bodies which can block his usurpation of power are the courts, which, given his appointees, is a dicey proposition; and the House which has hapless leadership and recognizes if it exercises its full powers it will be pilloried in the Obama dominated MSM, a fate they are unwilling to risk.

Anyway that's how I see it for now. The times ahead ought really be interesting.

I think if we step back a moment, it's not difficult to figure out exactly what's going on.

Zero the First (and more importantly, his demorcrat party) was being written off after the last election. And remember further - this issue, illegal immigration, was not even on the radar as to deciding issues for most voters.

So what's a good community organizer to do? (after all, "community organizer" is the only thing he's ever been good at). Well, divide, agitate, and conquer.

Here we are - not even a month after the devastating election - and no one is talking about the election anymore. All we're (and more importantly cable news) talking about is this issue that formerly no one cared about.

Give the devil his due. The man is an evil genius, but a genius none the less. (politically speaking, that is)
