Billionaire businessman Charles Koch said Sunday that “it’s possible” another Clinton in the White House could be better than having a Republican president.

Koch, the CEO of Koch Industries, made the comment to ABC News’ Jonathan Karl during an interview that aired on ABC’s "This Week."

Koch, his brother David and their associated groups plan to spend nearly $900 million on the 2016 elections.

The comment came after Karl asked about Bill Clinton’s presidency. Koch said Clinton was “in some ways” better than George W. Bush.

“As far as the growth of government, the increase in spending, it was 2½ times under Bush that it was under Clinton,” he said.

Karl followed up by asking whether Koch could see himself supporting Hillary Clinton.

There was a quote from the 70s movie "Love Story" that went something like "Love means never having to say you're sorry."

I was reminded of that quote when I read this.

Hillary Clinton responded after billionaire conservative donor Charles Koch said she might make a better president than any of the remaining Republican candidates.

"Not interested in endorsements from people who deny climate science and try to make it harder for people to vote," the Democratic presidential front-runner tweeted Sunday.

The Democratic front-runner was referring to support by Koch and his brother David for voter identification laws, which Democrats argue unfairly prevent poor people, especially black voters, from voting. The Kochs also fund various efforts to combat proposals like taxing carbon emissions that supports say would help reduce global warming.

No need to flatter yourself Hillary. This was faint praise and certainly wasn't an endorsement, but let that go, it was too close.

Charles Koch only used the word 'might' .......

and so, the specter of a Uniparty power broker, pulling back the curtain peering at the stage from the shadows, is hard not to notice.
