Iran Embassy attacked in Beirut

There was a double suicide bombing targeting the Iranian Embassy in Beirut earlier today.

There are at least 25 dead, including one diplomat.

An al-Qaeda linked group is claiming credit, but the Iranians are blaming Israel.

Two things,

1. the Iranians are following the Rahm Emanuel school of thinking, "Never let a crisis go to waste." When something bad happens, blame Israel, blame the Great Satan, [USA] just blame whoever it makes sense to blame.

2. from our point of view this is exactly what we want, the Sunnis killing the Shia, the Shia killing the Sunnis. As long as the USA stays the h$%& out of the picture, these two primitive tribes will do to each other what comes so naturally to them -- kill. They hate each other so long as we're not there to unite them against us.
