The bill is said to be over 1,000 pages which gives little time for the President to review it seriously before signing. It also is said to contain a number of "poison pills", measures which make it unpalatable and should be rejected even if it means another government shut down.

Daniel Horowitz has given the bill what he calls "a cursory glance" and here he lists a number of things he finds wanting.
