This is a list of requirements posted on FB by a woman I don't know. It was a comment by her on a story about new Congressional efforts to achieve an immigration plan. I liked her suggestions, except for #3 (issues of loyalty), and so I share them.

Agree, must learn and pass a literacy test in ENGLISH and have acceptable reading and writing skills in ENGLISH. Like what the word STOP means at a intersection. The only problem with any kind of AMNESTY is when the DEMS come back in power they will immediately make all US Citizens and repeal any laws TRUMP puts in place. The way to solve that is no DACA or Amnesty.

They should be required to not only be literate in English, but to pass the same citizenship test regular immigrants do. Plus, NO citizenship for 10 years, they pay the SAME total fees regular immigrants do, AND they are at the back of the line behind regular immigrants.
