"Oscar-winning actor and comedian Robin Williams was found dead on Monday from an apparent suicide at his home in Northern California, Marin County Sheriff's Office said. He was 63.

The sheriff's coroner's division said it suspects the death was a suicide due to asphyxia, but the cause of death is still under investigation.

Last month, the "Good Will Hunting" actor, who has struggled with addiction in the past, entered a Minnesota rehabilitation center to help him maintain sobriety.

His representatives at the time said Williams was not using drugs or alcohol but had gone to the center to "fine-tune and focus" his sobriety after working a longer-than-usual schedule."

One good thing though about this Commie Pinko taking the cowards way out is that I won't have to suffer through any more of his hate filled diatribes against Conservatives being passed off as "humor".

Ok, let's be honest. Williams' politics were too far to the Left and his acting career may (or may not) have been on the skids. Despite his politics, however, he was a vocal supporter of our armed forces and, moreover, he fits the criteria of compassion established by John Donne.

I've been thinking all the same lines lately.

Think about it: The Obama world was supposed to be the cure for all humanity, he was the 'Messiah' (if you're a liberal), he was going to unite the world, cure all ills, provide health care for all, end all wars, end terrorism, raise and lower the oceans, etc. etc. yadda yadda yadda.

Instead all they got was chaos, lies, destruction, and more war.

You're forced to either acknowledge you've been wrong your entire life, or eh, commit suicide because its all so depressing. Honestly, I'm surprised there haven't been more.

He was good to the troops and that makes him better than most of the lefties.

Perhaps the rude awakening Zero was providing, in addition to whatever else was going on in his personal life, proved to be a tad too much. I saw a picture of him taken just a few weeks ago and God, he looked awful. Gaunt, with a vacant look.

Looked like was already checked out.

Likewise. I liked his new TV show, "The Crazy Ones", but generally Williams left me cold. But that does not mean we ought take pleasure in his death. OTOH, this constant homage and morbid fascination with his death on the TV news (at least Fox) is just as off putting.

I didn't like the manic comedy at all, and I certainly didn't like his political opinions.

However, I enjoyed a few of his movie performances, although I didn't see many. I'm not into movies that much anymore, most of them are pure crap. (Give me the old stuff anyday.)

He seemed good in the dark stuff. Anyone see that older movie, "One Hour Photo?" I liked him in Garp and Dead Poet's Society also. Oh yeah, and the kids liked him in the Aladdin movie.

I have to admit I know next to nothing about Williams' politics, and I have faith that he and God will work out whatever needs to be worked out, in God's time, but this kind of thing makes me appreciate his humor:
