Eglman, Congress has a number of other powers, the most important of which is appropriations. Cut off the money, you cut off his, well, you know. The House can also conduct some serious hearings into such issues as the abuse of power by the IRS and the EPA (and cut off their funds) and the situation at the border. Hearings such as those would prove incredibly embarrassing for the administration just before an election. If we get the Senate back every Obama appointment could be raked over the coals and denied if appropriate.

But I tell you again: impeachment will not work and will only backfire.

There is too much wishful thinking put into an Impeachment. Even if Zero was thrown out of office, the people and apparatus destroying the country would still be intact. Only difference would be that Joe Biden would be controlling them with his good 'ol Uncle Joe routine and it would give him a huge step up to win '16.

While I can appreciate the various points of view regarding impeach or we can't impeach, the bottom line is that the impeachment clause is in the constitution for a reason. When politics and whatever party fallout or loyalty trumps the will of the people then it's time for a reset button.
