This is liberalism's #1 blind spot.

Liberals are always seeking to explain moral failure as reducible to something lacking. The person doesn't have a proper understanding or they lack education or they lack of money and THAT'S why they act out in such an evil manner.

But what makes us have evil in our hearts? Why do we hate, have selfish greed, envy of others, anger to kill innocents, lust for power and dominance? Are any and all underprivileged people doomed to behave as moral cesspools? Clearly this is not a cause.

With Kerry enunciating the #1 false equivalency of liberals, he's trying to explain away evil, stripping it of any personal responsibility, removing its stigma, skirting its evil origins in the corrupt heart, creating this guiltless no-fault aura in which we can simply "understand" evil behaviors.

No, it's just wrong! And funny thing is, the evil people laugh at how naïvely wrong the liberals are.
