Cliven Bundy supporters were planning to put women on the front lines in case the federal officers started shooting, Former Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack said Monday on Fox News’ “The Real Story.”
“We were actually strategizing to put all the women up at the front,” he said. “If they are going to start shooting, it’s going to be women that are going to be televised all across the world getting shot by these rogue federal officers.”
Mack and other organizers, reportedly armed, traveled to Nevada to support Bundy during his dispute with the Bureau of Land Management, which had seized hundreds of his cows grazing on Nevada-owned land. The standoff drew hundreds of states’ rights protesters, but ended peacefully Saturday when the BLM released the cattle to Bundy.
Additional note. I got this story at http://www.lucianne.com/main2/?fcnt=780185 and several posters there are arguing it's a plant, or disinformation, given that the men who were there are not the kind of men who would "sacrifice" women at any time or for any reason. That's a cowardly Leftist tactic, not theirs. At the same time there are no pictures of a line of women facing the Brown Shirts, even on that last day when a shooting war seemed imminent.

I think you're right, Cincy. I could picture the women making the decision to go to the front, but they would have been carrying, too.
Quote: Frank Cannon wrote in post #4I have heard there were plants all through the ranks of the protesters. I also don't trust second hand stories about what might have happened.
I'm sure there were agent provocateurs among the ranks. Some may have even been planted by the Regime.
This could have turned into a real bloodbath, but it didn't. Thankfully there weren't any itchy trigger fingers on either side.
