This representative of the GOPe is as despicable as any member of the Left, maybe more so.

House Speaker Paul Ryan told members of the House Republican Conference Monday morning that he won�t defend Donald Trump anymore and won�t campaign with him and will focus over the next 30 days on keeping the House majority, according to a Republican on a conference call. 

�You all need to do what�s best for you in your district,� Ryan told his members, according to a readout provided by the Republican source. Ryan did not, however, say that he was rescinding his endorsement of Trump.

House Republicans scheduled the Monday morning conference call on Saturday after a wave of Republicans either condemned Trump for the lewd remarks he made in 2005 that surfaced on Friday, withdrew their endorsements or called on him to drop out of the presidential race.

The Wisconsin Republican and 2012 vice presidential nominee said he will no longer defend Trump or campaign with him for the next 30 days, the source said.

Ryan said he will focus his energy instead on ensuring Hillary Clinton does not get a blank check, the source said, with a Democratic-controlled Congress

He's also a lying sob. He's astute enough to realize his behavior will hurt Trump and help ensure a Clinton victory. Then when that happens this jerk is going to make sure she doesn't get a "blank check" from Congress. Paul, wouldn't it be wiser to deny her the Presidency to begin with?

My heart would not be broken if this guy lost his seat. Yes, even to a democrat.

He is just as bad. Possibly even worse.

The only net result of Ryan pulling back from Donald Trump, at this late date, is to aid and abet Hillary for President. If that doesn't cause him enough pain to resist that temptation then who the h$## wants this traitor on their team? We've had enough of this crap.

Worse Ryan is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I suspect Ryan has just been looking for an excuse to rescind his endorsement of Trump. After all Ryan gotta get TPP passed.

The amazing thing is Ryan and all expect us to believe that lewd comments NEVER passed through their lips. Believe that and I've got a bridge for sale.

What Good Are We If We Can't Even Unify Around Defeating Democrats?

Here's the bottom line. I note that Paul Ryan has all but concluded that Trump is gonna lose. He's not pulled back his endorsement, but he's not gonna go out and fight. That's right. He has not pulled the endorsement. But he's telegraphed he thinks Trump's gonna lose and now he's working on saving the House majority and so forth. Right, he won't defend Trump and won't campaign for Trump. Okay, fine and dandy. But I have to tell you something, folks.

See, when you get down to the nut-cracking time, here we are. For those of you who are Never Trumpers, those of you who just can't bring yourself to support Trump, how can you support Hillary? How in the world can you do that? And don't tell me you're not. "I'm gonna sit it out or I may vote third party." BS. Anything you do besides vote for Trump is essentially electing Hillary Clinton, and the thing I want to know is, if you're going to suggest that Trump is unsuited, unfit, not qualified, and, if you are conservative and saying this is about Trump, then how can you not say it about Hillary and her candidacy? If Trump is unfit, why is she not? On the basis that people are determining Trump is not fit, she's even more unfit, if you ask me.
