Ted Cruz is calling her new running mate in the race for the GOP nomination an "extraordinary leader" who has "shattered glass ceilings" in business and politics.

Cruz introduced former technology executive Carly Fiorina, his pick for vice president, at a rally in Indianapolis Wednesday.

The announcement comes the day after Cruz lost five states to GOP front-runner Donald Trump.

The 61-year-old Fiorina previously served as the chief executive of Hewlett-Packard, but has never held elected office. She was the only woman in the GOP's crowded presidential field before dropping out of the race earlier in the year.

Pffffttt.....she really isn't liked in Cali. I guess he is pandering to the poor abused women by Trump vote. You know Trump will go after her record at HP and meygn kelly and hillary will scream how mean his is to women.

I was just wondering, did anybody watch that train wreck of a "rally" today? It was like something out of "The Day of the Locust." The only thing missing were the snake handlers.

Don't hate me because I am both beautiful and still like Carly. However, as TM points out, Cruz has been ...mathematically eliminated from winning the GOP presidential nomination outright., so I don't get the point of the exercise.

I honestly think it stopped being about becoming the nominee and started being an effort to stop Donald Trump back when he switched his tune from being a staunch conservative to being the only one who could stop Donald Trump. That's when he began to get support from the GOP-e and took the mantle from Rubio.

It's all an exercise in futility. Too bad they didn't fight this hard to stop Obama and his radical agenda! That we could respect! not this VP Carly charade for someone who has no chance of winning the nomination.

One more thing......her singing to Cruz from Canada and Heidi who worked at Goldman Sachs daughters yesterday was downright creepy. Who sings a song like that when iCArly could only have met them a couple of times?

Tim Conway jr on his radio show last night said it reminded him of Silence of The Lambs. Icarly singing to 2 children she put in a well in her basement.

1. How is John Kasich supposed to feel after forming an alliance with TrusTed a week ago and now getting stabbed in the back today. What was in it for Kasich?

2. What about the workers in Indiana's John Kasich campaign who were working for Kasich but without notice, were told to stop and to now work for Ted Cruz? Do Kasich and Cruz think their supporters are zombies who can be ordered to do whatever they want?

3. I REALLY want to know why a Ted Cruz Super-PAC sent $500,000 to Carly Fiorina's campaign? Isn't anyone beside me curious about such an incredibly high donation from and to a competitor? This contribution deserves the spotlight of scrutiny
