The thing that gets me about this is not the shooting, that is to be expected, but the fact Jay Inslee escapes any condemnation for his complete inaction while a major city in his state slips into anarchy. The mayor of Seattle, Durkan, has amply demonstrated her incompetence and fatuity. So where is the state's governor, Inslee, when it comes to suppressing the violence and restoring order?

Perhaps he should quit issuing rules as to how others must live, and start exercising his powers where it might actually do some good.

I just learned the shooting victim who survived thus far is only 14 years old.
