Mueller looked old, tired, and often confused. I don't mean to demean someone who may be suffering from physical ailments, but this matter is very important and he's central to it.

A consensus has developed that Mueller was merely a convenient figurehead who played no major role in the investigation and report which bear his name, interviewed few if any witnesses, did not write the report, and may not even have read it prior to testifying. I am also beginning to wonder if he actually selected his heavily Democrat oriented staff.

But if not he, who? Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller? Mueller's shadowy assistant Andrew Weissmann? Mueller's long time aide who "assisted" him at the hearing? Hillary Clinton? Whatever the case, investigating the investigators seems to be in order.
