It's been all over the MSM that Kanye West has distanced himself from Trump and Candace Owens plus feels like "My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!"

It all didn't sound correct to me. It took a while to put it all together. Some convoluted 'FAKE NEWS' just in time for the elections.

The room was speckled with red “Make America Great Again” hats and colorful “BLEXIT” t-shirts, which Owens mentioned were designed by Kanye West. The rapper tweeted his support for Owens in April, shortly before vocally announcing his own support for President Donald Trump.

“Eighteen million black babies have been aborted since 1973,” Candace continued, “We have aided and abetted in [the left’s] plan to stop new black births — the most unsafe space for a black child in America is in their mother’s womb.”

The room was somber at first, and some sniffling could be heard in the audience.

“Government plantations were sold to us as empowerment,” stated Owens boldly, “Black Americans are poorer today than before [welfare’s] proliferation.”

The energy in the room quickly picked up as Owens spoke about the future.

“A movement called BLEXIT, the black exit from the Democrat Party,” stated Owens, “the black exit from permanent victimhood, the black exit from the false idea that we are somehow separate from the rest of America.”

“The BLEXIT movement will spend 2019 holding rallies in every major city in America the Democrats have destroyed,” affirmed Owens.

The crowd cheered as Owens began naming the cities she plans to visit.

“We are at long last ready to snatch a piece of this America dream,” said Owens, “We can fully recognize that this in fact our country, that while Hillary Clinton viewed us as ‘super predators,’ CNN views us as ‘token negros who don’t read,’ Donald Trump views us as Americans.”

The audience of black conservatives then erupted in patriotic chants of “USA!”

So the “Blexit” push was a bridge too far for Kanye West.

In a series of tweets Tuesday afternoon, the rap star who proudly wore a MAGA cap and stole the show from President Trump at the White House said he wanted nothing to do with the campaign to convince blacks to exit the Democratic Party and was disassociating himself from politics.

He specifically criticized Candace Owens, the black conservative pushing the “Blexit” campaign who touted Mr. West’s involvement in designing clothing for it at the weekend.

“I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it,” he said.

In a series of tweets, West stated, “I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.”

ORIGINAL STORY: Black conservative Candace Owens on Monday accused the media of creating “drama and further divisiveness” by crediting rap star Kanye West with designing her new #BLEXIT campaign aimed at getting Black folks to ditch the Dems in favor of the GOP.

“#BLEXIT is about the beautiful stories of so many Black people who have awakened themselves to the possibilities of our future, as Americans,” Owens wrote on Twitter.

The clarification comes amid reports that the “Gold Digger” rapper lent his design expertise to the colors and graphics for a line of hats and T-shirts Owens, 27, is using to promote the campaign, which launched Oct. 27, according to Quartzy. Owens, who also serves as communications director for conservative nonprofit Turning Point USA, was on hand at the organization’s Young Black Leadership Summit in Washington over the weekend, where colorful BLEXIT shirts were being passed out.

“Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West,” Owens told the New York Post, noting that West has “taken one of the boldest steps in America to open a conversation we have needed to have.

On Monday, the young conservative clarified her comments to say that West had only helped in one aspect of her BLEXIT designs.

“I said on stage that my friend and fellow superhero helped me design he ‘X’ for BLEXIT,” she began. “This may shock the world, but Ye is a world renowned designer. Everyone who knows him asks him for advice on designs.”

Owens emphasized that the project “is mine entirely,” but said she felt “blessed that Ye introduced me to a designer who, despite having totally different political beliefs than me, helped me craft some beautiful letters that I used on the BLEXIT caps.”

Turning Point USA communications director Candace Owens went on the defense Wednesday after rapper Kanye West rejected claims that he designed or created “Blexit” T-shirts.

Owens posted a link to a blog post on Twitter, apologizing to West for using his name while introducing the new product line last weekend.

“I never once said that Kanye designed the t-shirts for BLEXIT. This is a lie that seems to have made its way around the world; a lie I would like to again correct for the record. Kanye was completely right to feel used in that regard and as I have done personally, I would like to publicly apologize to him for any undue stress or pain the effort to correct that rumor has caused him, his business relationships, or his family. He simply never designed them,” Owens wrote.

West took to Twitter on Tuesday to clarify his involvement in the shirts after they were introduced Saturday at Turning Point USA’s Young Black Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C.

The T-shirts were made to encourage black people to move from the Democratic Party. The word “Blexit” is a play off of “Brexit” in the United Kingdom.

Owens was quoted by Page Six on Saturday saying the logo and colors of the T-shirts were created by West. However, in an interview with Breitbart, Owens stressed that she had only consulted West about the "X" in the design while she was still working on the idea. The report says that West put her in contact with a designer and that after her conversation with West, she took a trip to Africa to find inspiration.

In a tweet Monday, Owens blamed the media for misinterpreting her remarks, calling the "Blexit" project "entirely" her own.

West visited the White House earlier this month wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, to discuss prison reform and other issues with President Trump and Jared Kushner.

To be fair, either the video was edited or Candace Owens was careless when she credited Kanye for the hat with the Blexit logo. Kanye tends to speak in a stream of conscious mode which is not very specific.
