Note that the original charges of pedophilia against Menendez were made in 2012 and reported in the US press in 2013, yet nothing was done about it. Here we are 2 years later and one of the Senate's most shady members is under investigation for corruption. Then, too, Menendez of late has also been an outspoken critic of The Emperor's foreign policy. The timing of this investigation certainly is curious.
