A saccharine puff piece from the NYT telling us how Gillibrand has emerged as one of the most outspoken defenders of women in this Age of Trump. The article includes this gem: "She was the first prominent Democrat to say President Bill Clinton should have left office for his own sexual misconduct in the 1990s."
My heavens, how brave, and a far cry form what she said last year, "Gillibrand wrote in 2016 that she was "truly honored" by Bill Clinton's support during that campaign. "I was lucky enough to receive guidance and mentorship from Hillary during that run, and was truly honored that President Bill Clinton campaigned for me in my first run for Congress in 2006," she wrote in an op-ed explaining her endorsement of Hillary's White House bid."

Oddly enough the NYT propaganda piece failed to note this side of the history of Gillibrand.
