yeah, that was then......
everything was so easy to say and so many believed him.

We wanted it ALL to be true, so much that "we" allowed him to 'BS' his way into office with none of the usual scrutiny. He made promises like nobody before him and he continued to 'BS' us with his "hope and change" rhetoric for another two years.

Now he can no longer cry out the name George Bush to win us to his side. It doesn't work anymore. He has his own track record against which he is now able to be judged. When those campaign promises are replayed now they become his worst judge of all.
