Donald Trump is still right about stopping Muslim immigration “until we can figure out what is going on.” Anybody in Brussels care to argue the point?

It’s not xenophobia to talk about a time-out for as long as necessary, and it’s certainly not racism – Islam is a religion, not a race. And by the way, any president has every right to the halt the influx of these unvetted hordes, should he decide that the unwanted arrival of any group is “detrimental.”

“He may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens or immigrants.”
That’s from the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952. Passed 64 years ago, in other words, by a Democrat Congress no less. Hey moonbats, is that law “settled” enough for you?

Muslims make up one percent of the American population, but since 9/11 have committed 50 percent of the terrorist attacks in the US. Which means a Muslim is 5000 times more likely to be a terrorist than anybody else. That stat comes from National Review, hardly a Donald Trump fanzine.

So yesterday everyone woke up to the news of this latest Muslim bloodbath. And you knew it wouldn’t be long before you read your first “backlash” sob story. And sure enough, at 9:36 a.m., a piece moved from something called “ibtimes.com.”

The headline: “Muslims Fear Backlash After Brussels Attack: Far-Right, Anti-Immigrant Sentiment Often Follows Violence.”

Those damn bitter clingers – how gauche! Next came Andrea Mitchell of MSNBC. “There is a popular notion,” she sniffed “that migrants are somehow connected with the terror threat, whether or not it’s true.”

Whether or not it’s true? Memo to Andrea: that “junior varsity” terrorist they arrested in Brussels last week told the Belgian cops that two of the Arab terrorists on his crew “had taken cover in the wave of Syrians fleeing war.” That’s from the Wall Street Journal, which also quoted a U.S. official as saying that ISIS “has been hiding fighters without European passports in the flow of migrants.”

Lenin said the capitalists would sell the Soviets the rope to hang them with. Now the West is paying welfare to the “migrants” who are using it to buy the bombs to blow us up with. But don’t you dare complain, or you’ll be shunned in polite society as a nativist, just like Donald Trump.

This hand-wringing by the elites is dangerous. Even Tony Blair, the former British PM, has taken to decrying what he calls the “flabby liberalism” of the guilt-ridden western elites. The double standard is breathtaking. Obama’s IRS brazenly “profiles” Tea Party members while simultaneously the FBI is ordered to scrub its manuals of any references to jihad lest terrorists be offended.

Maybe all those SCOTUS justices were wrong. Perhaps in modern America, the Bill of Rights has indeed become a suicide pact.

But the Beautiful People continue to kid themselves that nothing is wrong. Did you notice how much the terrorist on the left in the airport surveillance video looked like Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the bloodthirsty Muslim Rolling Stone dreamily described as “tousle-haired?” Do you sense another wet-kiss-to-a-terrorist cover story in the works?

Bottom line: more than 30 civilized human beings in Brussels yesterday were permanently cured of their “Islamophobia.” And the chattering classes still wonder why Donald Trump keeps winning primaries.
