#1 White House unable to list qualifications of Obama's choice for U.S. ambassador to Hungary (but she does produce The Bold and The Beautiful) by Cincinnatus 03.12.2014 01:51

July 7, 2014: "Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Monday that President Barack Obama isn’t choosing ambassadors based on their political beliefs, a statement that goes against various reports showing that about a quarter to a third of Obama’s picks are political, and that many have raised money for Obama’s campaign. “When these ambassadors are chosen, they’re not chosen based on their political party,” Reid insisted on the Senate floor. “They’re chosen on merit.”

Dec 3, 2014: "The White House struggled on Tuesday to defend Colleen Bell, President Barack Obama's choice for U.S. ambassador to Hungary.

Bell, a top Obama reelection campaign bundler and a producer of the soap opera The Bold And The Beautiful, was confirmed today without a single Republican vote in the last window of opportunity for Democrats to approve such 'patronage' appointments before the GOP takes over the Senate in January.

Pressed to explain Bell's qualifications for the diplomatic position, the president's spokesman was unable to speak in specifics this afternoon, eventually citing her experience in the private sector as the reason she was selected...

Touching on this today, ABC News' Jonathan Karl asked White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, 'what are Colleen Bell's qualifications for ambassador?'

'Was it that she was a soap opera producer, is it that she gave hundreds of thousands of dollars - or helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars - for the Obama reelection campaign? Why was she chosen?' he pondered.

Earnest hemmed and hawed before describing Bell as 'somebody who retains the confidence that, well, let me say it this way: Ambassador Bell has the president's confidence that she will do an excellent job representing the U.S. and maintaining the important relationship the U.S. has with the government and the people of Hungary.'"

Good for ABC News' Jonathan Karl!!! Keep asking the questions Karl, don't shrink back!

"Bell, a top Obama reelection campaign bundler and a producer of the soap opera The Bold And The Beautiful, was confirmed today without a single Republican vote in the last window of opportunity for Democrats to approve such 'patronage' appointments before the GOP takes over the Senate in January."

The people see this abuse of power and they do not approve. Only the partisans approve and they're about to get a taste of their own medicine. Step aside losers.

Ordinarily, most people wouldn't give a rat's patootie about who gets the Ambassador post in Hungary, but most people are becoming sensitized to the actions of the lawless President. I think Obola's ride is going to start getting rough. Reid protected him from a lot, and when reporters from ABC start asking embarrassing questions you know something's up. I think the MSM is making a strategic pivot away from Obola towards the Dem nominee in 2016 (whomever that may be).
