#1 Near-record cold New Year's Eve expected in New York City [Recalling Al Gore in 2004] by ThirstyMan 27.12.2017 18:46

If you plan on ringing in the new year at the annual ball drop in Times Square, expect to be cold. A severe blast of Arctic air has descended on the New York City region and temperatures will stay below the freezing mark around the clock for the rest of the year.

On New Year's Eve, the temperature is expected to drop to around 12 degrees, about 12 degrees below normal and one of the coldest on record. High temperatures leading to the holiday are expected to be colder than the typical low temperatures for those days.

Despite the cold, it is not expected to be a record for that date. In 1962 the temperature plunged to 2 degrees on New Year's Eve but that fact is little comfort for the upwards of one million people expected to spend hours outdoors waiting to ring in 2018.

Gore decries 'global warming' in bitterly cold NYC

Former VP slams Bush as 'moral coward,' says 'W' only concerned about financial contributors

With a near-record low temperature and single-digit wind chill in New York City, former Vice President Al Gore took to the podium in Manhattan’s Beacon Theater today to blasted President Bush for contributing to “global warming.”

Calling Bush a “moral coward,” Gore said the president’s policies are meant only to accommodate his financial contributors, the Associated Press reported.

The Dems are running the same meme today whenever discussing the recent tax cuts, but no one in the Associated Press or anywhere else in the MSM seems to note the curious repetitiveness of it all 13 years later.

The Goracle seems to be incapable of modifying his stance in the face of facts.

There are many indicators that we are in for a cooling trend. For ~20 years global temperatures have been drooping and the number and intensity of sun spots have been declining. Soon we will thank Trump for removing Zero's onerous restrictions on coal, oil, and gas.
