A federal judge in California has blocked President Trumpís executive order to cut funding from sanctuary cities that donít cooperate with U.S. immigration officials.

U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick issued the ruling Monday in lawsuits brought by San Francisco and Santa Clara counties. According to the judge, Trump canít set new conditions on spending approved by Congress.

The judge had previously put a temporary hold on the executive order.

The Trump administration has appealed that decision to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

William Orrick is an Obama appointed activist judge. He's a real Swamp Creature: "According to the Public Citizen, a non-profit, consumer rights advocacy group, William H. Orrick III, who was employed by the law firm Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass, raised at least $200,000 for Barack Obama and donated $30,800 to committees supporting him."

Yeah this is really la la land. The title says the order was "permanently blocked" yet the Trump administration is appealing that which is "permanently blocked"???

Call me stupid, but if the judge's ruling is subject to appeal, can it really be a "permanent block" then???

Headlines are an important part of 'fake news' . Many people don't have the time or motivation to go past them.
