Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, “no mas.”

Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept. Discrediting the price paid for America’s exceptionalism over our history, he’s given false hope and taxpayer’s change to millions of foreign nationals who want to sneak into our country illegally. Because of Obama’s purposeful dereliction of duty an untold number of illegal immigrants will kick off their shoes and come on in, competing against Americans for our jobs and limited public services. There is no end in sight as our president prioritizes parties over doing the job he was hired by voters to do. Securing our borders is obviously fundamental here; it goes without saying that it is his job.

The federal government is trillions of dollars in debt, many cities are on the verge of insolvency, our overrun healthcare system, police forces, social services, schools, and our unsustainably generous welfare-state programs are stretched to the max. We average Americans know that. So why has this issue been allowed to be turned upside down with our “leader” creating such unsafe conditions while at the same time obstructing any economic recovery by creating more dependents than he allows producers? His friendly wealthy bipartisan elite, who want cheap foreign labor and can afford for themselves the best “border security” money can buy in their own exclusive communities, do not care that Obama tapped us out.

Have faith that average American workers – native-born and wonderful legal immigrants of all races, backgrounds, and political parties – do care because we’re the ones getting screwed as we’re forced to follow all our government’s rules while others are not required to do so. Many now feel like strangers in their own land. It’s the American worker who is forced to deal with Obama’s latest crisis with our hard-earned tax dollars while middle class wages decrease, sustainable jobs get more scarce, and communities become unrecognizable and bankrupted due to Obama’s flood of illegal immigration.

Who’s looking out for the American worker? Who has their backs? Who fights for them?

We should.

President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here. It’s not going to get better, and in fact irreparable harm can be done in this lame-duck term as he continues to make up his own laws as he goes along, and, mark my words, will next meddle in the U.S. Court System with appointments that will forever change the basic interpretation of our Constitution’s role in protecting our rights.

It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment.

The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.

She's absolutely right. And.....I for one am getting tired of hearing, 'you can't impeach him because the Senate won't have the votes'...yadda yadda.

Who cares if the Senate has the votes or not? Its the right thing to do.

She's right.

"The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is."

If impeachment had any teeth, the bum would be out of office. But Clinton remained in office.

AFTER a successful campaign to impeach, if the bum simply remains in office, what's the point? what was accomplished?

[ This is a teachable moment for someone.]

I'm with you. Impeachment is nothing. It is a message from congress that you are a screw up, but it doesn't remove you from office. Nixon was a different case. He lost GOP support in the end. Tell me where Zero is going to lose support from the rabid Left. Ain't happening.

Elections have consequences. There are no do overs. Someone ought to tell Caribou Barbie bout that.

It's my understanding that impeachment is only an indictment. After that comes the actual trial and conviction or acquittal.

Clinton was successfully impeached by the House but he was acquitted at trial in the Senate.

Per wiki which explains more clearly than I:
"At the federal level, Article II of the United States Constitution (Section 4) states that "The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors." The House of Representatives has the sole power of impeaching, while the United States Senate has the sole power to try all impeachments. The removal of impeached officials is automatic upon conviction in the Senate. In Nixon v. United States (1993), the Supreme Court determined that the federal judiciary cannot review such proceedings.

Also per wiki only two presidents have been impeached (Andrew Jackson and Bill Clinton), and both were acquitted by the senate:

I take a back seat to no one in my distaste for this poseur. But Pat Buchanan, a man I highly admire, has written a column as to why an impeachment attempt would be a bad idea at this time and I agree with him.

Thanks for the post. I had seen the headline yesterday but never got around to reading it.

Personally I would love to see this sociopathic narcissist run out in disgrace. In my head the thought evokes the scene in Wizard of Oz where the witch melts in futile fit of anger and frustration. However you are correct, Buchanan makes some good arguments against impeachment at this point in time.

Among them is the lack of solid evidence that would hold up in a court of law.

And:
" ... would a Republican Party that failed and folded when it tried to use its legitimate power of the purse to defund Obamacare really stand firm in an Antietam battle to impeach a president of the United States? "

Lack of evidence--Really--It's right in front of you even a blind man can see it. Just do something--even if you see it as a slap on the wrist do IT

What the Hell is the Impeachment clause there for if you are not going to use it

As far as uber-Rino Buchanan he is a political hack who has been in Washington to long

I'm tired of people looking to the PC culture and worried how it will look instead of doing the right thing regardless of how loud the opposition whines

OK good. We agree. What are we gonna do with the rest of them?

"Caribou Barbie" did you come up with that Frank? It's a winner.

When Slick Willy got impeached and stayed in office, he essentially told the world "That didn't hurt" just like a little kid after his Mom gives him a swat.

This time the offenses are WORSE!!! but the same process today would result in the Dems hanging tight with Zero and the Liberal press and the liberal pieces of s#%t, would have a field day with the Pubbies making accusations that would make the tar and feathering of Newt Gingrich look like sandbox play.

I don't give a CRAP about slick Willy when they Impeached Him they cut his balls off so he did nothing the rest of his term a message was sent--As far as the Dems they will always cling to those they worship--And the media is a shadow of itself--I seen a Drudge poll this morning over 200,000 what obama impeached--The PEOPLE are fed up--They want someone with political balls--And "Caribou Barbie" has more leadership ability than the leadership we have now

Pat (opinion piece): "The effect would be to enrage and energize the Democratic base, bring out the African-American vote in force and cause the major media to charge the GOP with a racist scheme to discredit and destroy our first black president."

And that would be all you would accomplish. The current Senate is NOT going to vote impeachment, so while it would be nice to express our anger in such a dramatic way, it will fail and create nothing but sympathy for Mrs Obama's baby boy.

Better to focus constantly on Obama's myriad shortcomings in preparation of the coming election, take back the Senate, and choose new leadership in the House, leadership with some cojones. Then deal with the clown currently in the WH.

Ok, Eglman, "It's right in front of you even a blind man can see it." provide us with the proof that Obama can be directly tied to any provable "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors". It ain't there, my friend, and impeachment would be an exercise in futility at the very least.
