When billionaire businessman and frequent Donald Trump critic Mark Cuban said he'd sit front-row at Monday's presidential debate, it didn't take long for the debate commission to respond -- nor the Republican nominee.

Donald Trump's Tweet:
"If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Gennifer Flowers right alongside of him!" Trump tweeted Saturday, citing the actress whose claims of a 12-year affair with Bill Clinton roiled the Arkansas governor's presidential bid in 1992.

Nearly two and a half hours after Trump's tweet, Flowers tweeted she will be at the debate supporting Trump.

Gennifer Flowers Tweet:

Hi Donald. You know I'm in your corner and will definitely be at the debate!...💋

On Saturday morning, the co-chairman of the Commission on Presidential Debates also said it would "frown upon" the decision to have Cuban sitting in a front-row seat.

"We're going to frown upon that, we'll tell you this right now, whether a Republican or Democrat or anyone else attempts by use of the tickets in placing people in the front row or not to try to impact the debate," Frank Fahrenkopf said on CNN with Michael Smerconish. "It's wrong, we would frown upon Mr. Cuban being in the front row."
Fahrenkopf said the candidates determine who sits where in the block of tickets they are given.

Donald, put Gennifer in the front row, next to Juanita Broaddrick, who is next to Patricia Smith, who is beside Charles Woods.

The Huffington Post has its say on the possible Flowers invitation and is highly incensed. Highly.

Gennifer Flowers, a model and entertainer who had an affair with Bill Clinton while he was governor of Arkansas, said that she will attend Monday night’s presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, at Trump’s invitation.

Flowers’ assistant confirmed her attendance to BuzzFeed. The Trump campaign did not respond to The Huffington Post’s request for confirmation.
Trump threatened to invite Flowers if Mark Cuban, a celebrity billionaire backing Clinton, attended the debate.

Juanita Broaddrick, a retired nurse who maintains that Clinton raped her in 1978, told HuffPost that Trump had not asked her to attend.
“It’s a little late to make travel arrangements but it would be delightful to attend such an epic event. Maybe I will get an invitation to the next one,” she said in a Twitter message.

Monday night’s showdown, which will be the first time Hillary Clinton and Trump appear on the same stage as candidates, is expected to draw upwards of 100 million viewers.

If Trump indeed invited Flowers to the debate, it will be a virtually unprecedented stunt for a presidential candidate.

President Bill Clinton admitted in sworn testimony in 1998 that he had had an affair with Flowers while he was governor of Arkansas. During his 1992 presidential campaign, he denied having the affair, which Flowers claimed lasted 12 years.

Trump experimented with dredging up 1990s-era conspiracy theories and scandals associated with the Clintons, including the former president’s well-documented sexual peccadilloes. But he has mostly refrained from employing these attacks in recent months.

In inviting Flowers to the debate, Trump has decided it’s wise to humiliate the first female presidential nominee from a major party for her husband’s infidelities.

“Hillary Clinton plans on using the debate to discuss the issues that make a difference in people’s lives,” Clinton campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri said. “It’s not surprising that Donald Trump has chosen a different path.”

Oh that naughty, naughty Trump. Hilliary wants to keep the debate on a more cerebral level, which explains her inviting Cuban to sit in the front row; but Trump, I shudder to say, wants to dredge up "1990s-era conspiracy theories and scandals associated with the Clintons." How dare he?

In any case the HP gets the last word:

Thanks Cincinnatus!

Now we know the "proper" way to view this invite. Payback is such a beeyatch!

The Clintons have to decide if they want a debate or a circus. Inviting that clown Mark Cuban to sit in the front row turns it into a circus. So if they want a circus, What's wrong with having players from both sides?

Well ... well

Juanita Broaddrick would confront Hillary if Trump invited her to debate

By Kyle Olson

When Juanita Broaddrick heard Bill Clinton mistress Gennifer Flowers could be attending the first presidential debate as Donald Trump’s guest, she says that might be an opportunity she would welcome, too.

Trump marches to his own drummer not the unspoken rules designed to enable the uni-party.

The Media is either completely ignoring the fact that Pickles invited Cuban or downplaying it. ("That's not the same thing as inviting GENNIFER FLOWERS.") I am sure that will surprise you all.

BTW, I just heard on Fox that Flowers will not be there. Don't know about Cuban though...

True dat, plus I see where Trump's threat to invite Flowers is being portrayed as one more example of his lack of judgement and his bluster. The Cuban invite, and its obvious purpose, is ignored as if it never happened. You know, the usual double standard.

Yes, it appears she won't be which I think is a mistake. In fact, I think he should invite the entire crew I listed in post #2.

I see various headlines saying both yes and no. I guess we won't find out until tomorrow.

As much as I'd enjoy seeing Gennifer Flowers sitting there in Kankle's face, I think Trump scored points just by threatening to bring her.

Kellyanne Conway has indicated that Gennifer was not invited. Perhaps she's being mature here, recognizing that Flower's attendance will not further their goals or the image they want to project of DT as Presidential.

That would be all the press talked about if she did attend.

Trump can always have the Fearsome Foursome (post #2), and possibly several others (e.g., Paula Jones), join him when he gives a major speech. Perhaps they will even endorse him if they are willing. That would be delightful.

I know two of the four, Broaddrick and Flowers have endorsed him already. Both said they'd be willing to attend the debate.
