Just an FYI should such things interest you.

We are a coalition of artists who, today, are joining millions of Americans in our commitment to defeat the presumptive Republican nominee for president, Donald Trump.

We believe it is our responsibility to use our platforms to bring attention to the dangers of a Trump presidency, and to the real and present threats of his candidacy.

Donald Trump wants to take our country back to a time when fear excused violence, when greed fueled discrimination, and when the state wrote prejudice against marginalized communities into law. His rhetoric and policy proposals exclude, degrade, and harm:

Mexican and Latino people
Black people
Muslim people
LGBTQ people
Women and their health care providers
Asian people
Refugees
People with disabilities
Working class people
American prisoners of war
…and those of countless other marginalized communities.
.
When dangerous and divisive leaders have come to power in the past, it has been in part because those of goodwill failed to speak out for themselves or their fellow citizens. Some of us come from the groups Trump has attacked. Some of us don’t. But as history has shown, it’s often only a matter of time before the “other” becomes me.

That is why we need to unite before it is too late—for the sake of our fellow Americans and for the sake of our democracy—and why it is so critical for those of us with the privilege to speak out to do so loudly and forcefully, in our work, online, and in our communities, with all the resources we have at hand.

We call upon every American to join us–to stand together on the right side of history, to use the power of our voice and the power of our vote to defeat Donald Trump and the hateful ideology he represents.

We are united against violence.
We are united against sexism.
We are united against racism.
We are united against xenophobia.
We are united against homophobia.
We are united against fascism.
We are united against fascism.

We are Artists
#UnitedAgainstHate.

What follows is a list of signatories, most of whom are the usual suspects like Mark Ruffalo, Lena Dunham, Michael Moore, and so forth.

You can see they are really, really against Fascism as they list it twice. In any case, if you are interested in who these "artists" are, go to the link.

I must be missing something because all the hate is coming from the left. They are the ones promoting anarchy, death, and destruction. For the first time in my life I actively witnessed a political party call for the death of cops. I wish I could have made that one up, sad to say, I didn't.

I have lived to see the fulfillment of II Timothy 3:3 come to pass: " unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good," along with Isaiah 5:20, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;"

It's not a debatable point. They need a mirror if they want to find and see hate.

It is also interesting to note how many celebrities and music acts there are at the Dem Convention. Not only are such people not exactly known for moral behavior, but who cares what they think except for the Dems who are apparently entranced by glittery stuff, not ideas. They are just people with a certain amount of talent, and sometimes little or none, and why their opinions weigh more than the general public is not quite clear.

I've often wondered why anyone would take advice from someone who does make-believe for a living and often can't distinguish between fantasy and reality
